Arrived Sydney

And this is as close to the Opera House as we will get. The Qantas person in LA started to fuss about checking our luggage thru to Auckland and Jim started to fuss about whether we would have enough time, so here we sit.
Otherwise it was a very nice 13 hour flight from LA. We each slept at least 8 hours and I saw 2 good movies.
I realized that we missed Groundhog Day . We left LA on Feb. 1 and it is now the morning of Feb. 3. If we don't know whether the groundhog saw his shadow, how do we know how many weeks left of winter?

    Sunday was bright and sunny despite the storm on Saturday. So the groundhog did see his shadow, six more weeks of winter. We didn't want you to miss out on the fun of more winter when you got home. So you will be able to enjoy the last three weeks of it.

    I'm pretty sure there will be way more than 6 weeks. Just saying.

    There is no foreseeable end to Winter this year.
